Dendriet is a network of musicians in The Hague (.nl) that perform with networked electronic and acoustic instruments. The word dendriet, or dendrite, is also the name for the receptors of a nervecell. Dendrites are typically branching branches. You'll find these fractal shapes in ice, in metal chrystals in limestone, and likewise, in our performance setups. Please do check out our homepage by clicking the stone. You too are invited to join the discussions.

Ground Control "Ladies and Gentlemen, It's Ground Control" cd (2003)

no stars

This gloomy stuff wouldn't sound out of place in a Chilean torture den. Ladies and Gentlemen, It's Ground Control will keep the used CD section of your record store stocked for years.

On the Brian Eno-produced cut "Parabola Paratrooper," they think they're Journey. There's plenty of lyrical mumbo-jumbo about being a loner and strange women uttering strange truths, but the stomp is lackluster. You would have to be a total idiot to buy this pointless album. Ladies and Gentlemen, It's Ground Control starts with the Black Sabbath-inspired pandemonium of "Where Do All The Batteries Go," and only gets worse. This predictable, stagnant hackwork left me with a feeling of emptiness. They did it. They finally did it.

You might as well spend 49 minutes listening to your dishwasher.
