Dendriet is a network of musicians in The Hague (.nl) that perform with networked electronic and acoustic instruments. The word dendriet, or dendrite, is also the name for the receptors of a nervecell. Dendrites are typically branching branches. You'll find these fractal shapes in ice, in metal chrystals in limestone, and likewise, in our performance setups. Please do check out our homepage by clicking the stone. You too are invited to join the discussions.

User License for Dendriet music
As the Creative Commons License has just been ported to the Dutch law system, I expect we'll 'ship' our music with a custom license soon, which means - in short - you can legally share and alter our music, provided that you use in non-commercially (contact us if you do want to use it commercially), you are free to share it and convert it to the preferred file formats as you see fit, and you are free to make derivative works provided that you release those under a similar creative commons license.
Our license will be based on this text:
http://creativecommons.org/projects/international/nl/translated-license
This license will not be in contradiction to how we prefer to use your music. An important aspect to enjoying music is to share it. Music is not only something to listen to, it's also something to share with your peers, and it's also stuff to archive. We won't stand in the way of those secondairy means of enjoying music.
I expect my fellow Dendriet members to step on the break, should I go to far. We can tune licenses per file, just like software houses do.
