Dendriet is a network of musicians in The Hague (.nl) that perform with networked electronic and acoustic instruments. The word dendriet, or dendrite, is also the name for the receptors of a nervecell. Dendrites are typically branching branches. You'll find these fractal shapes in ice, in metal chrystals in limestone, and likewise, in our performance setups. Please do check out our homepage by clicking the stone. You too are invited to join the discussions.

Kraakgeluiden recording online

In good Dendriet tradition, the recodings of yesterdays performance are put online. Carlos Iturralde, Koen Nutters, Lukas Simonis and Huib Emmer were kind enough to agree to this publication, as well Leon Spek and Ernst van der Loo. Dendriet usually uses a creative commons licence, which in short says: It's OK to share these files but you may not lower the bitrate; You should contact all makers before any commercial use; It's OK to use the material in other works as long as that work is shared like these files. I suggest you use these rules as well, but that is up to you, dear musicians!
So, here they are: session 1, session 2a and session 2b.
I enjoyed the concert a lot, and I wonder what you think...
