Dendriet is a network of musicians in The Hague (.nl) that perform with networked electronic and acoustic instruments. The word dendriet, or dendrite, is also the name for the receptors of a nervecell. Dendrites are typically branching branches. Buchla Matrix Mixer 

Schematic! It's fairly straight forward schematic, except it has two antiparalel diodes that clip the signal should it become to loud. The choice of diodes will matter a lot for the sound.
Clipping as an ultra fast brick wall limiter... I like Buchla's rough style!
