Dendriet is a network of musicians in The Hague (.nl) that perform with networked electronic and acoustic instruments. The word dendriet, or dendrite, is also the name for the receptors of a nervecell. Dendrites are typically branching branches. You'll find these fractal shapes in ice, in metal chrystals in limestone, and likewise, in our performance setups. Please do check out our homepage by clicking the stone. You too are invited to join the discussions.

Last nights performance
The performance was good. One shy girl said "I think you are my favourite noisemakers." Doing a connected bunch of short performances works well for the audience. What a shame that the recording stopt three times! I will put everything that got recorded online.
Ouverture: I liked it's lightness. It worked nice having to keep the athmosfere. All our sounds connected really well, and all changes in texture came on the right moments. I had nice blends with Juan and my dope synth.
Refractions: Composed thus more serious. Juans electronics were a loving partner for Aslaugs bass sounds.
Toy Control: We had a nice start. Playing our equipment felt like taming a tiger. We managed to grab it!
SPL: scratching the matrix, the delaylines. Nice roomy reverbs! Feels like being cut up by the loan mower yet remaining to be of the opinion it's a nice day.

Fake Jazz in the bar: We didn't succeed faking music. It was a good session. I expected Ernst and Thijs to rudely interupt us, and getting the audience to the 'hall' again. Miking was a good connection though.
Ernst, Leon, Thijs: Funny view, with Thijs standing in the back. It was good to hear the bass, guitar and bass sounds from the bar again. I was inspired.
Finale:Glad I could join in. Funny how the sound died once. With all six of us playing at the same time, we again managed to blend well. Also, the acoustic instrument did fit in our electronic environment. Nice fat ending movement! What a shame that the recording got cut off again, there.
