Dendriet is a network of musicians in The Hague (.nl) that perform with networked electronic and acoustic instruments. The word dendriet, or dendrite, is also the name for the receptors of a nervecell. Dendrites are typically branching branches. Pioneers of Electronic Music 

The Barrons were definately pioneers, but for sure were not the parents of electronic music. Nice detail: They got a tapemachine as a wedding present 1948, which must have been an absolute novelty then.
