A project of Dave Krooshof and Thijs Scheele with Xavier van Wersch. When Dave Krooshof remembered that fruit can be a battery, they decided to control a synthesizer with apples. The first performance was for the New Forms Festival 2002 in The Hague, when the equipment was mostly old chemistry measuring equipment from the Mol.Spec. depertment of the K.U.N. Martijn Kieft from the VPRO made a nice video registration and interview. You can see the video here.
The second performance again drew the attention of the national TV, when the performed at the fabulous Garage-g festival in Stralsund. For that occasion we made this mobile lab. Xavier made a sugarcoated website for it.
